Our friend John Bena over at MileHighReport.com, who is in town for the opening weekend of Broncos training camp, reports that the Broncos did not a deal done with defensive lineman Robert Ayers in time for the Broncos first-rounder to practice Friday morning.
More disconcerting is the case of the other first-rounder, running back Knowshon Moreno, who is working out in Georgia while the rest of the team is working out together in Denver.
