The Colorado Rockies made two moves Thursday to bolster their bullpen. The first — to recall top prospect Jhoulys Chacin — was rumored since last night when Chacin left a game in Tulsa after one inning. The second, was to acquire a much-needed setup reliever in Cleveland’s Rafael Betancourt.

Betancourt is 1-2 with a 3.52 ERA. He missed all of June with a groin injury.

The Rockies gave up Class-A pitcher Connor Graham in exchange for Betancourt. Graham, a starter at Modesto, was named the Rockies’ No. 12 prospect by Baseball America before the season.

Here’s Betancourt talking after Thursday’s Indians game.
