14th Street in for a mall-like makeover?

Improvements to make downtown Denver’s 14th Street more pedestrian-friendly — a la the 16th Street Mall — are in the works, 9News reports.

“So as you’re walking down the street you’re shaded by trees, you have better ways of finding signage, you have wider sidewalks much like you see here on the 16th Street Mall, so it really welcomes pedestrian activity in that area,” Sarah Neumann with the Downtown Denver Partnership said.
