The New York Daily News reports the New York Jets, looking for experience at wide receiver, have interest in the Denver Broncos’ Brandon Marshall. The Kansas City Chiefs’ Dwayne Bowe is also on the team’s radar.

Count us among the most skeptical about the Broncos’ chances of dealing Marshall. They’re under no obligation to do so and they won’t give Marshall away for nothing. Unless a team puts up at least a second-round pick and mostly likely a first-rounder, trading Marshall is not in the team’s best interest. The wide receiver will be looking for a big contract elsewhere next year if he can’t get it here — he might grumble all season, but he will catch 90 passes for the Broncos if he sticks around. Given the transitioning offense, having to put up with a disgruntled wide receiver is preferrable to looking for a new one.
