Denver Broncos fans aren’t yet sold on the Kyle Orton as the starting quarterback, but SI.com’s Don Banks has some good things to say about the Broncos backup, Chris Simms, who ranks No. 9 on Banks’ list of NFL backup quarterbacks.
Though the rust he accumulated during his long layoff in the wake of that ruptured spleen is still present from time to time, Simms is starting to come around and he’s still only 29.
