The RMI Network

Part of our mission at the Rocky Mountain Independent is to give journalists a place to gather to do what they love on their own terms. As the scope of news coverage narrows to the point that nearly every news outlet is covering the same small number of stories, many subjects are going uncovered. Some are at the core of our democracy, and some are personal passions or diversions from the weight of the day. While it is no longer practical for a single news organization to cover everything that happens in a city as vast and diverse as Denver, we want to aid independent journalists who have a passion for their subject and take the journalistic process seriously. If you have a subject you already cover on your Web site or would like help creating a place to write about what is important to you and the city of Denver, let us know. We want to help. While we value our independence as much as anyone, there is strength in numbers.
